Terms of Service

These draft terms are an engineering and customer-flow document, not legal advice. They require review by a qualified attorney before paid launch.

1. About the service

Orbmare is an independently operated global sourcing service for customers with delivery addresses in the United States during the initial launch. Orbmare helps customers discover and request products from third-party suppliers. Orbmare is not the manufacturer of those products.

The person or entity legally operating the service must be identified before launch. Nothing on this site represents Orbmare as an LLC, corporation, licensed customs broker, carrier, insurer, or product manufacturer.

2. Product information

Product descriptions may be based partly on supplier-provided information. Materials, dimensions, image source, safety information, availability, processing time, return eligibility, and other item details appear on the product page when verified. “Details pending verification” means the information has not yet been confirmed and must not be treated as a product promise.

3. Orders and acceptance

Submitting payment or an offer is a request for Orbmare to review and source the item. It does not mean a third-party supplier has confirmed availability. An order is accepted only when Orbmare sends an explicit acceptance or purchasing confirmation. Orbmare may reject or cancel a request that is unavailable, restricted, incorrectly priced, unsafe, suspected of fraud, or not reasonably procurable. If payment has been captured, an applicable refund will be initiated.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are displayed and charged in USD. The checkout must show merchandise, any separately charged Orbmare service fee, shipping, taxes collected at checkout, estimated import treatment, and the total due now. Orbmare sourcing compensation may be included in an item price when disclosed. Stripe processes card information; Orbmare does not receive full card numbers.

Obvious pricing or technical errors do not require Orbmare to fulfill an order at the erroneous price. Orbmare will request confirmation of a corrected price or cancel and refund the affected request.

5. Delivery addresses and import

Customers must provide a complete, accurate United States delivery address and respond to reasonable carrier or customs requests. Customs duties, import taxes, brokerage, or carrier charges may be collected separately when disclosed at checkout. See the Customs and Import Charges Policy.

6. Cancellation, returns, and claims

Cancellation and return eligibility are item-specific. A sourced-after-order item may become non-cancellable once supplier purchasing begins. This does not limit non-waivable rights. Orbmare may coordinate with a supplier or carrier when reviewing a claim, but that coordination does not limit any non-waivable rights available to the customer.

7. Prohibited conduct

Customers may not use the service for unlawful, sanctioned, fraudulent, dangerous, export-controlled, counterfeit, or otherwise prohibited transactions; interfere with the service; submit false offers; misuse payment instruments; or infringe intellectual property rights.

8. Intellectual property

Orbmare site content and branding may be protected by intellectual property law. Third-party product names, images, and marks remain the property of their respective owners. A listing does not imply authorization or affiliation unless expressly supported by verified documentation.

9. Disclaimers and limitation

Third-party products and services remain subject to supplier, carrier, and customs actions outside Orbmare’s direct control. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Orbmare does not promise uninterrupted availability, a guaranteed delivery date, or characteristics not expressly confirmed in the accepted order.

Any limitation of liability applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes fraud, willful misconduct, or consumer rights and liabilities that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

10. Changes and language

The policy version accepted at checkout is preserved with the order. Material changes apply prospectively unless law requires otherwise. English is the binding version to the extent permitted by applicable law; translations are provided for convenience.

11. Governing law and disputes
