Privacy Policy

Effective: July 23, 2026Version: privacy-2026-07-23Status: Draft

This policy describes the current intended website flow. It must be updated whenever actual data practices, vendors, or legal requirements change.

1. Information we collect

  • Contact and delivery information, including name, email, phone, and shipping address.
  • Order information, product choices, policy consent, support messages, returns, and claims.
  • Payment status, payment reference, fraud signals, and limited billing details received from Stripe. Orbmare does not receive full card numbers.
  • Technical information normally sent with a web request, such as IP address, browser, device, timestamps, and security logs, where the deployed infrastructure records it.
  • Shopping-cart and language preferences stored in the browser.

2. Sources

Information comes from customers, browsers and devices, Stripe, suppliers, purchasing partners, logistics providers, carriers, fraud-prevention providers, and support communications.

3. Purposes

We use information to provide sourcing and checkout, confirm availability, process payments, arrange delivery, coordinate customs and claims, prevent fraud, provide support, keep consent and transaction records, comply with law, and improve service reliability.

4. Sharing

Stripe receives payment and fraud-prevention information. Suppliers, purchasing partners, warehouses, carriers, customs service providers, and logistics partners may receive the minimum information reasonably needed to procure and deliver an order. Hosting, security, communications, and professional advisers may process information for their services. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or necessary to protect rights and safety.

5. Cookies and browser storage

The current site uses browser storage for cart contents and language preferences. It does not intentionally deploy advertising trackers or non-essential analytics in the reviewed codebase. Stripe may use technologies necessary to provide payment and fraud-prevention services under its own policy. If Orbmare adds non-essential analytics or advertising tools, this policy and any legally required choice mechanism must be updated before activation.

6. Sale, sharing, and marketing

Orbmare does not currently intend to sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. This statement must be reassessed if advertising, data partnerships, or applicable legal definitions change. Marketing messages, if introduced, must include the required opt-out method.

7. Retention

Order, consent, payment-reference, tax, fraud, dispute, and support records will be retained only as long as reasonably needed for the stated purposes and legal obligations. [OWNER_REVIEW_REQUIRED] A record-specific retention schedule must be approved before launch.

8. Security

Orbmare uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the service. No system can guarantee absolute security. Customers should not send card numbers, government identifiers, or bank credentials through email or support messages.

9. Access, correction, and deletion

Requests may be sent to [PRIVACY_EMAIL]. Orbmare may verify identity and may retain information where required for transactions, security, disputes, tax, or law. Rights vary by state and circumstance; Orbmare will not discriminate for exercising applicable privacy rights.

10. International processing

Because orders may involve suppliers and logistics partners outside the United States, information may be processed in countries with different privacy laws. Only information reasonably needed for procurement and delivery should be shared.

11. Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, and Orbmare does not knowingly collect their personal information. Customers must have legal capacity to enter the transaction or use the service with appropriate guardian involvement.

12. Changes and contact

Material changes will be posted with a new effective date and version. Privacy requests: [PRIVACY_EMAIL]. Legal notices: [LEGAL_EMAIL].
